The I am Malala Student Book is a study of Malala Yousafzai’s memoir, along with several other texts. It has been designed to fulfil the requirements of the NSW Stage 6 English EAL/D Module A: Texts and Human Experiences.

By engaging in close reading of I am Malala, alongside the following texts: extracts from Charles Dickens’ Hard Times, William Faulkner’s ‘Speech at the Nobel Banquet at the City Hall in Stockholm’, and ‘Susan B. Anthony’s ‘On Women’s Right to Vote’, students will develop their knowledge of how texts provide insight into the emotions, behaviour, and motivations that form the core of human experiences.
